UEMS Accreditation
The Journées Francophones de Radiologie (JFR), Paris, France 03/10/2025 - 06/10/2025, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 26.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity”.
“Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
“Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.”
Please find below the breakdown of ECMEC® by day:
- October 3, 2025 - 7.0 credits
- October 4, 2025 - 6.5 credits
- October 5, 2025 - 7.0 credits
- October 6, 2025 - 5.5 credits

Which sessions are eligible for accreditation?
- All educational/scientific sessions in the program are accredited.
- Non-accredited sessions: VRI Workshops and sessions, FIA sessions, Flash demo and AVLS of the VUS, Agora JFR sessions, Lectures, Miscellaneous, Plenary sessions, Educational posters, Scientific posters, Symposiums, Interventional radiology simulation workshop.
- Credits can be claimed for attending in-person or VOD (on demand) sessions after JFR2025 until December 31, 2025.
How to claim credits?
- The EACCME® awards credits on the basis of 1 credit per hour of educational activity.
- Each participant can only receive the number of credits based on their actual participation and once they have completed the evaluation form.
- The evaluation form is available on JFR.Plus
- Participants can only claim credits once.
- The evaluation form must be filled out after all sessions for which participants wish to claim credits have been viewed.
- The accreditation certificate with corresponding credits can be downloaded once the evaluation form has been completed.
- A maximum of 26.0 credits can be awarded to each participant.
- Credits can only be claimed by December 31, 2025.
